Locapal was created in 1976 in Bruyères-sur-Oise, GIE of the Usinor group (which will become Arcelor).
Locapal then makes its fleet of HEB and sheet pile sections available to its customers. A secondary depot near Lyon allows customers to be supplied all over France.
In 1986, during the privatizations in the Usinor group, the manager, Monsieur de Pianelli, took over Locapal.
He developed the HEB rental business and abandoned sheet piling.
In 1997, Mr. Bourdarios took over Locapal and began developing the Manufacturing activity.
In 2004 the CMIS workshop based 150 km from Paris in Gauchy (02) and which specializes in metal formwork, joined Locapal.
In 2007, Thibaut Tampé took over the management of Locapal and accelerated technical development. An internal design office is created. A range of new products is then created: shuttering trays, 260 T pallets, PRS1300…
In 2015, the design and method office set up in Aix en Provence, then was joined by a sales and works team.
In 2016, the main depot moved to Creil in a new 30,000 m² site with a 12,000 m² building. This new installation allows the Locapal team to give full measure of its creativity, while having quality material management.
Locapal - Cmis now has 45 employees specializing in the production of temporary works. Locapal is supported in its growth by BPI Investissement.
